Pertemps TM is a well-established M&E Maintenance firm with over three decades of experience in the industry. We specialize in providing comprehensive M&E building services maintenance across various sectors including commercial offices, healthcare, education, retail, transportation, and manufacturing throughout the UK.

Position: Foot Mobile Mechanical Engineer – Coverage in Zones 1 – 3

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, totaling 40 hours per week.

In this role, you will operate on a Foot Mobile basis, executing maintenance and repair tasks on mechanical systems within Zones 1 to 3.

Mechanical Responsibilities:
  • Conduct maintenance, servicing, and repairs on mechanical equipment including Air Handling Units (AHUs), Fan Coil Units (FCUs), basic plumbing, water temperature checks, and heating systems.
  • Manage pumps and motors.
  • Service split systems.
Electrical Responsibilities:
  • Perform emergency light testing and fire alarm inspections.
  • Handle lighting systems, ballasts, Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), and Building Management Systems (BMS).
  • Execute first and second fix installations on lighting.
Required Qualifications:
  • City & Guilds or NVQ certification in Plumbing or Mechanical Engineering.
  • An electrical qualification, with a minimum of the 17th Edition.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Competitive salary up to £43,000.
