About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Senior to join our team in Milton Keynes. As an Audit Senior, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of audit assignments from planning to completion, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of audit assignments from planning to completion, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead onsite audit teams to ensure quality audit fieldwork
  • Plan and project manage a varied portfolio of audit clients
  • Review statutory accounts, corporation tax computations and returns
  • Take responsibility for individual assignments to ensure effective and timely delivery
  • Preparation of reports for review of Directors
  • Converse clearly and effectively by using computer software including IRIS, Sage, Xero and QuickBooks
  • Support junior staff by reviewing work and knowledge sharing
  • Liaise directly with clients, building strong rapport and proactively handling queries
  • Work to client expectations, budgets, and deadlines
  • Promote services to existing and prospective clients
  • Champion your own professional development, proactively learning from the experienced team
  • Support the wider firm with ad hoc duties as needed

About You

We are looking for an ACCA or ACA qualified, finalist or studying, with recent experience within practice. You will have a solid understanding of UK audit regulations, a proven track record of leading audit assignments from planning to completion, and good communication skills, both verbal and written.

You will be self-motivated and reliable, with a strong work ethic, time management and organisational skills. You will also have enthusiasm to learn from an experienced team, a hands-on attitude towards building client relationships, and a proactive problem solver with a keen eye for detail.
