As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of clients, working closely with the Audit Manager to ensure service excellence. This role is split by 80% audit and 20% accounts/tax.

Responsibilities:

* Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, working closely with the Audit Manager to ensure service excellence.
* Plan audit engagements and lead onsite teams.
* Preparation of accounts and tax computations.
* Be a go-to advisor for clients, building professional relationships and adopting a proactive approach to problem solving.
* Oversee junior team members, including managing workflow, reviewing work, and identifying training opportunities.
* Work closely with Partners to ensure expectations, deadlines, and budgets are met.
* Identify and implement processes to improve the efficiency of the audit function.
* Support business development for the firm, identifying new service lines for your portfolio.

Requirements:

* ACA / ACCA/ or equivalent qualified.
* Experience leading external audits from planning to completion.
* Good understanding of UK GAAP and FRS 102.
* Previous client facing experience with good relationship building skills.
* Strong working knowledge of audit and accounting software.
* Confident using the Microsoft Office suite.
* Good time management and a positive, can-do attitude when working under pressure.
* A team player who is eager to support the wider team.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbally.
