Job Description:
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Personal Assistant to join our team at Disability North. As a Social Personal Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting a young individual with Autism, ADHD, and Epilepsy, ensuring their safety, well-being, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support to the individual, promoting their independence and autonomy.
- Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care and hygiene.
- Engage in activities that promote social interaction, communication, and emotional well-being.
- Support the individual in accessing community resources, such as sensory provision centers and swimming facilities.
- Collaborate with the individual's family and healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive support plan.
Requirements:
- Experience working with individuals with Autism, ADHD, and Epilepsy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full clean UK driving license.
- Female personal assistant preferred.
