We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Social Worker to join our team at Randstad Care. As a Social Worker for our Children in Care and Care Leavers Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of vulnerable children and young adults.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized care plans to meet the unique needs of each child or young adult.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with children, young adults, and their families to provide emotional support and guidance.
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as teachers and healthcare providers, to ensure a comprehensive approach to care.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
**Requirements:**
- Experience working with vulnerable children and young adults, preferably in a social work or related role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with children, young adults, and their families.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of emotional intelligence and empathy.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, policies, and procedures governing child care and protection.
