About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at NeuroSupport Services Ltd. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with acquired brain injuries and mental health conditions to achieve their goals and optimize their independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized support to service users in their daily lives, including assistance with paperwork, accessing work, and organizing daily tasks.
  • Support service users in using Brain in Hand, a technology-based system to aid with daily life tasks.
  • Assist with online courses, such as the IMAC accounting course, by helping service users organize their time and follow course directions.
  • Transport service users to appointments and activities.
  • Manage service users' diaries and reinforce strategies such as 'To do' lists.
  • Help service users with problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Plan, organize, and carry out domestic tasks, including meal preparation.
Requirements
  • Access to full training, including Brain Injury Awareness Training.
  • CPD opportunities.
  • Subject to Full Enhanced DBS.
  • Competitive hourly rate.
  • Gain experience working with a multidisciplinary team.

  • At least six months' experience of working in a support worker role or similar in the past three years.
  • Full UK driving license and access to your own car.
  • Experience in the field of psychology.
  • Willing to become self-employed.
