About the Role:
As a Junior M&E Quantity Surveyor, you will be an integral part of the commercial team, responsible for managing the financial and contractual aspects of projects. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for M&E projects, ensuring accurate financial planning and control.
- Managing contracts, including contract administration, negotiation, and dispute resolution, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Monitoring and controlling project costs, identifying areas for cost savings and implementing effective cost management strategies.
- Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and timely completion.
- Preparing and presenting regular financial reports to senior management, providing insights into project performance and financial status.
The Ideal Candidate:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in an Assistant or Junior Quantity Surveying role, preferably within the Commercial, Residential, Leisure, or Educational sectors.
- Proficiency in relevant software and IT tools, including cost estimation and project management software.
