Job Title: Radiology Doctor

Medacs is seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiology Doctor to join our team at Swansea Bay University Health Board. As a Radiology Doctor, you will be responsible for using images to diagnose, treat, and manage various medical conditions and diseases.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Use images to diagnose and treat medical conditions and diseases.
  • Offer specialist expertise and guidance to other doctors and staff.
  • Liaise with medical and non-medical staff to ensure quality treatment.
  • Elect appropriate radiology techniques for patient diagnosis and undertake minimally invasive techniques.
  • Actively support patients and their families, communicating clinical information.
  • Work in a multidisciplinary team and lead where appropriate.
  • Assess and prioritise patient requirements, delegating effectively.
  • Recognise, review, and report patient conditions and changes.
  • Perform basic administrative and clerical tasks.
Requirements:
  • Be a registered Doctor.
  • At least 2 years post-graduate experience.
  • 6 months recent NHS experience within the last 3 years.
  • Pass an enhanced background check.
