The Opportunity
Cornell Search is seeking a detail-oriented and ambitious Investment Analyst to join our client's growing team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting fundraising activities and investor-related initiatives, contributing to the firm's mission to back promising deep tech startups in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and management of fundraising activities, including financial analysis and market research.
- Support communication with current and prospective investors, providing market insights and investment opportunities.
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging technologies, industry trends, and potential investment opportunities.
- Assist in the due diligence process for new investments, including financial statement analysis, business model evaluation, and market potential assessment.
Qualifications
- Strong academic background in a relevant field.
- A passion for new and emerging technologies, with a keen interest in deep tech and innovation.
- Prior experience or a solid understanding of Venture Capital and the startup space.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with entrepreneurs and investors.
