We are seeking a highly skilled Civils Site Supervisor to join our Integrated Design and Delivery team at Northumbrian Water. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in managing a portfolio of schemes, ensuring efficient project delivery, and driving lean and agile project management practices.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of schemes, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
- Liaise with key project stakeholders, including Project Managers and engineering personnel, to define technical and TOTEX solutions
- Influence and guide stakeholders and framework partners to ensure efficient project delivery
- Manage operational and customer interfaces to ensure successful project outcomes
- Ensure compliance with relevant SHE regulations, including temporary works
- Lead and supervise Framework partners pre- and post-construction, as well as through the delivery stage
- Support the technical development and training of the broader Civils team by mentoring and coaching apprentices or junior members of the team
- Track record in delivering construction/civils projects
- Good technical knowledge of standards and specifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of CDM and the roles and responsibilities of the principle contractor and principle designer
- Good communication skills and ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to review and comment on contractors' RAMS and experience in managing contractors
- Full valid UK class B+E driving licence
