Water Site Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

As a Site Supervisor with United Living Infrastructure Services, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of United Living Water Limited Repair and Maintenance Contracts on Water. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the clients' requirements are met while working in line with the company's health & safety, quality, and customer satisfaction standards.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Safety: Ensure site standards are maintained, assist with risk assessments, investigate accidents, provide site instructions, and conduct site inspections.
  • Production: Work to programme.
  • Quality: Ensure standards of workmanship are maintained. Complete quality records and ensure continuity of process capability.
  • Problem Solving/Troubleshooting: Address any issues that may arise during the course of your work.

Liaison Responsibilities:

  • Liaison with Health & Safety Manager: Collaborate to improve standards through joint site inspections and reviews of site monitoring results. Deal with improvement notices.
  • Liaison with Water Operatives: Work together to ensure safety, quality, and environmental standards are achieved. Deal with actions from technical audits. Develop and maintain competency levels.
  • Liaison with Client Representatives: Attend progress meetings. Communicate day-to-day with client representatives.
  • Liaison with Local Authorities & Other Bodies: Address any matters related to site activities.

Site Personnel Management:

  • Recruitment: Identify and recommend suitable candidates for site personnel roles.
  • Disciplinary: Address any disciplinary matters related to site personnel.
  • Manpower Planning: Ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained.
  • Communication: Foster effective communication among site personnel.
  • Man-Management: Supervise and guide site personnel to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively.

Control of Plant, Equipment, and Materials:

Administration:

  • Documentation: Maintain quality records, as laid down information, timesheets, and work records.
  • Other Duties: Perform any other duties reasonably assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • NRSWA (Supervisors)
  • Water Safety Passports
  • Supervisory Management Training
  • IOSH/SMSTS
  • Extensive Experience Working on Water
  • Full UK Driving License
