We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to join our team at United Living Group. As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of our water infrastructure projects, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety: Ensure that all site standards are maintained, assist with risk assessments, investigate accidents, and conduct site inspections.
  • Production: Work to programme and ensure that all construction activities are completed on time.
  • Quality: Ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standards of workmanship, and that quality records are completed and maintained.
  • Problem Solving: Troubleshoot any issues that arise on site and implement solutions to resolve them.

Liaison with Health & Safety Manager:

  • Work together to improve site standards through joint site inspections and reviews of site monitoring results.
  • Deal with improvement notices and ensure that all necessary actions are taken.

Liaison with Water Operatives:

  • Work together to ensure that safety, quality, and environmental standards are achieved.
  • Deal with actions from technical audits and ensure that all necessary corrective actions are taken.
  • Develop and maintain competency levels among site personnel.

Liaison with Client Representatives:

  • Attend progress meetings and provide regular updates on site activities.
  • Deal with day-to-day issues and ensure that all client requirements are met.

Management of Site Personnel:

  • Recruit, train, and develop site personnel to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to carry out their roles.
  • Deal with disciplinary issues and ensure that all necessary actions are taken.
  • Manage manpower planning and ensure that all site personnel are properly utilized.
  • Communicate effectively with site personnel and ensure that they are aware of all site policies and procedures.

Control of Plant, Equipment, and Materials:

  • Ensure that all plant, equipment, and materials are properly maintained and that all necessary safety checks are carried out.
  • Deal with any issues that arise with plant, equipment, or materials and implement solutions to resolve them.

Administration:

  • Ensure that all necessary documentation is completed and maintained, including quality records, timesheets, and work records.
  • Deal with any other administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • NRSWA (Supervisors)
  • Water safety passports
  • Supervisory Management training
  • IOSH / SMSTS
  • Extensive experience of working on water
  • Full UK driving license
