We are in search of a dedicated and skilled Team Leader to become part of our vibrant healthcare team, focused on delivering exceptional support to individuals with learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading and supervising a team of support workers, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of personalized care.
  • Assisting the Registered Manager in the daily operations of the service, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and standards.
  • Creating and executing care plans tailored to the unique needs of service users, in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
  • Monitoring and assessing the quality of care provided, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing necessary adjustments.
  • Fostering strong relationships with service users, their families, and external partners to ensure a comprehensive approach to care.
  • Providing direct support and assistance, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures, while maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Conducting weekly and monthly internal quality audits to monitor compliance.

Requirements:
  • Prior experience in a leadership role within the healthcare sector, ideally with individuals with learning disabilities.
  • A compassionate and empathetic demeanor, coupled with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Robust leadership and management abilities, with the capacity to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Familiarity with relevant legislation and regulations, including CQC standards.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • A genuine commitment to improving the lives of individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Adult Health and Social Care.
