About the Role

nCino is seeking a highly skilled Proposal Specialist to join our Sales organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for project managing the overall bid process, developing and writing responses for Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposal (RFPs) from our sales prospects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead requests and data gathering for Bank Prospects and Clients on RFP, RFI, Due Diligence, and other similar requests from start to finish and meet specified deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates.
  • Establish and ensure adherence to all proposal policies, procedures, and timelines to develop a submission that is technically sound, responsive, compliant, and of the highest quality.
  • Write, develop, update, and provide ongoing maintenance to nCino's RFP database on a regular basis.
  • Create high-quality RFP, RFI, Due Diligence and similar responses for nCino by following proposal-writing standards with consistency.
  • Cross-functionally partner with legal, sales, and operational departments to proactively research, collect, and summarize information from numerous sources to complete the proposal.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Finance, Business, or Economics or related.
  • 4+ years of experience within a financial or software organization with at least 2 years' experience in proposal generation.
  • Proven experience with structured writing projects and proposals.
  • Exceptional writing skills with excellent attention to detail for proof-reading, editing, and formatting.
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office tools.
  • Project management skills.
  • Experience in legal and/or contract development.
