About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Repairs Surveyor to join our team at G2 Recruitment Group Limited. As a key member of our property maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our tenants receive excellent customer service and that maintenance issues are resolved efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service and Issue Resolution: Provide prompt and effective resolution to maintenance problems, ensuring that tenants are satisfied with the service they receive.
  2. Liaison and Communication: Liaise with tenants, contractors, and Direct Labour Operatives (DLOs) to ensure that access issues are resolved and documentation is collected in a timely manner.
  3. Inspections and Technical Decisions: Conduct internal and external inspections of housing and leasehold stock, diagnose defects, and make technical decisions regarding repairs and maintenance.
  4. Stock Condition Surveys: Conduct stock condition surveys to property as required, ensuring that life-cycle assessments are reviewed and updated continuously.
  5. Void Property Preparation: Inspect and prepare void properties for re-let, including stock condition surveys, compliance checks, scheduling repairs, managing contractors, and completion of paperwork.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also need to have a strong understanding of property maintenance and repair principles, as well as experience in a similar role.
