Practice Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Practice Nurse to join our team at Rothwell & Desborough Healthcare Group. As a Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our practice.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients with a focus on promoting health, self-care, and independence.
- Carry out specific delegated clinical tasks and responsibilities to a competent standard.
- Work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure effective patient care.
- Recognise and report any issues related to safeguarding vulnerable children and adults.
- Exercise professional accountability and comply with practice policy in relation to the safe administration of medicines.
- Use electronic records to record the outcome of assessment and evaluation of care.
- Assist in the assessment of and management of risk across the environment where care is being administered.
- Develop a working knowledge of other providers' resources and referral systems to ensure individuals' needs are met.
- Demonstrate good understanding of principles of consent and ensure valid consent is obtained prior to undertaking nursing and care procedures.
- Deliver effective care following plans determined by the registered nurse or other registered care professional and provide feedback on progress against the plan.
- Practice Nursing Degree
- Registered on the NMC register
- Cervical sample taker qualification and updates
- GCSE Grade A-C in both Maths & English
- Minimum 2 years experience in general practice (desirable)
