We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Solutions Engineer to join our team at Inmarsat. As a key member of our Government Aviation Sales team, you will be responsible for identifying customer problems and proposing competitively advantageous solutions using our cutting-edge technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with sales teams, partners, and end-users to define, shape, and understand technical requirements, steering customers towards Inmarsat's unique differentiators.
  • Deliver written technical content for proposals and costings for professional services to the sales and commercial teams for customer proposal inclusion.
  • Provide in-depth technical workshops to partners and end-users, including live demonstrations and hands-on training sessions.
  • Represent Inmarsat at industry forums and give presentations at industry events, establishing the company as a leader in the field.
  • Actively support STEM activities for the business, including the development of academic relationships.
Requirements
  • Strong proficiency in partnering across an organisation with colleagues in finance, contracts, engineering.
  • Experience with our growing portfolio of products and services, including hosted leasing, aircraft installations, ground segment compatibility, and new hardware introduction, with a focus on Government Aviation ISR (manned and unmanned) use-cases.
  • IT literate in MS Office Word, Excel, etc.
  • Self-motivated and flexible.
