About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join our team at SkyBridge U.K. Ltd. as an Informatics Software Developer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex software systems for our eVTOL aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software systems using model-based development tools such as Matlab / Simulink.
  • Develop safety-critical aerospace systems, including control systems, navigation, avionics, and ground control systems.
  • Work with real-time operating systems (RTOS), embedded systems, and software-in-the-loop (SIL) or hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation environments.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as DO-178C for software development in aerospace systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement software solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest software development tools and technologies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • Experience developing complex systems and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong experience with programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or Qt.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and flexible mindset.
