Role Summary

We are seeking a Social Media Advertising Specialist to enhance our paid social team. This role will concentrate on the management and strategic execution of online advertising for Footballco's branded content, encompassing both static and video formats optimized for various platforms, primarily Meta, YouTube, and TikTok. Daily collaboration with internal teams such as Client Services, Sales, Ad Operations, and Social, as well as external clients and platform partners, will be essential to ensure the seamless execution of advertising campaigns. As part of the strategy team, you will collaborate closely with our creative strategy and commercial content teams to formulate distribution strategies that effectively serve our brand partners. You will have the opportunity to partner with the Paid Social Manager to refine our overall social and publishing strategy as we strive to establish the leading football publishing business globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in all facets of paid social execution, including campaign setup, tracking, optimization, and reporting for Footballco's branded content partners and key accounts across social platforms (Meta, YouTube, X/Twitter, TikTok).
  • Ensure adherence to best practices and optimizations to meet performance expectations and, in many cases, stringent targets.
  • Develop expertise in various platforms and aid in crafting content distribution strategies for both internal teams and external clients.
  • Continuously test and assess new strategies, tactics, and partnerships to enhance and evolve our service offerings.
  • Exhibit strong budget management skills, ensuring that social channels operate within budgetary constraints while achieving performance KPIs.
  • Maintain a curious and adaptable mindset, ready to engage in broader social business activities.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in media buying with a focus on paid social.
  • Proficient analytical skills with a keen attention to detail, coupled with a passion for data analysis to extract insights and communicate them effectively to relevant teams and stakeholders.
  • Exceptional project management abilities, capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital media platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat).
  • Advanced skills in Excel and Google Sheets, with an emphasis on creating and updating documents for rapid data analysis.
  • Experience in tailoring communication for diverse audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, particularly in influencing and active listening.
  • Experience in preparing and analyzing campaign insights for partners.
  • Solid business acumen with the ability to apply creative problem-solving skills to address challenges as they arise.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience managing and overseeing media distribution for either a publishing entity or a portfolio of client accounts.
