Vertiv is seeking a highly skilled Service Sales Manager - Thermal & Generators to join our team in Southampton, UK. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing the Thermal & Generator Remedial teams, providing strategic guidance, and technical assistance to deliver the company's sales strategy successfully in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to drive sales growth and meet targets.
  • Provide coaching and training to team members to ensure they are equipped to sell Thermal and Generator remedial services effectively.
  • Work closely with other department leads to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet company standards.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, and develop strategies to deliver them.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, FM's, and other stakeholders to provide vision and strategy to fit their current and future requirements.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of sales experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of the Thermal and Generator market, and business critical applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Decisive nature, with a strong ability to manage others and provide coaching and training.
  • Computer literate, with a minimum of 2 years experience in sales.
