About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Digital Producer to join our team at Historic Royal Palaces. As a key member of our Digital Engagement department, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing our digital content strategy, with a focus on video production and YouTube channel management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the research, development, and production of high-quality video content that showcases the stories and history of our palaces.
  • Manage the Historic Royal Palaces YouTube channel, including content release scheduling and collaboration with other teams.
  • Commission and oversee film productions from research to delivery, ensuring high-quality output that engages our audiences.
  • Develop and implement SEO best practices to maximize audience reach and engagement.
  • Work collaboratively with the Digital Engagement team to produce and manage a wide range of digital products and projects.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least five years of professional experience in video and/or TV production, with a focus on commissioning and production management.
  • Strong research skills, with the ability to transform research into engaging video content.
  • Experience in commissioning a variety of factual formats that engage audiences in innovative ways.
  • A solid understanding of YouTube and SEO best practices.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a dynamic team.
