About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Digital Producer to join our team at Historic Royal Palaces. As a key member of our Digital Engagement department, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing our digital content strategy, focusing on video production and YouTube channel management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the research, development, and production of high-quality video content that showcases the stories and history of our palaces.
  • Manage the Historic Royal Palaces YouTube channel, creating and implementing a content release schedule to enhance audience reach and engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute digital content strategies that align with our charity's goals and objectives.
  • Commission and manage production companies to produce engaging video content that meets our high standards.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our audience and their needs, using this insight to inform content decisions and optimize our digital content for maximum impact.
Requirements
  • At least five years of professional experience in video and/or TV production, with a strong track record of commissioning and managing high-quality content.
  • Proven expertise in researching and developing engaging video content, with a passion for public history and creative storytelling.
  • Excellent production management skills, with the ability to oversee film productions from research to delivery.
  • Strong understanding of YouTube and its audience, with experience in maximizing audience reach and engagement through SEO best practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team, with excellent communication and project management skills.
