Nurse Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sister/Charge Nurse to join our team at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide support to the Senior Sister and the rest of the team, working on a busy general medically ward.
Main ResponsibilitiesThe post holder will be expected to support the complex Diabetes and Endocrinology needs of patients, complete ward-based training and education, and mentor students, junior staff, patients, and therapists. They must be committed to evidence-based care, up-to-date with national recommendations, and adhere to clinical governance. The Sister/Charge Nurse role includes providing nursing care and clinical skills to a diverse range of patients, supporting colleagues and carers on the ward.

Requirements- Registered Nurse
- Completed national PEAP programme for practice supervisors or equivalent teaching and assessing qualification
- Possess or working towards a degree
- Relevant experience at AFC band 5
- Experience in managing long-term conditions
- IV drug administration competency
- Evidence of professional development
- Basic IT/computer skills
