Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team at Napier Turbocharger, a Wabtec Company. As a senior member of the Engineering team, you will be taking the lead in the design and development of new turbochargers and associated products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design of new turbochargers and related machines.
  • Lead on technical projects, involving R&D, product validation, testing, and associated development.
  • Interface with other business functions, Commercial, Manufacturing, and Procurement.
  • Input to methods development and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Experience in high-speed rotating equipment engineering, ideally turbochargers.
  • Demonstrate engineering leadership, especially the ability to problem-solve and drive assigned activities through to completion in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate experience of working with non-engineering functions to deliver projects.
  • Demonstrate strong project management skills.
