About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the office and operational tasks, ensuring the smooth running of the business. This will include overseeing the Customer Service team, reviewing customer orders, and negotiating with suppliers to improve sales margins and delivery times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the office, including administrative tasks and customer service.
- Oversee the Customer Service team, ensuring excellent customer service and timely resolution of customer issues.
- Review customer orders, verifying accuracy and agreed project delivery timescales.
- Negotiate with suppliers to improve sales margins and delivery times.
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate purchasing and financial records.
- Implement new processes and systems to improve business productivity and efficiency.
- Act as the main point of contact for IT/Software issues and report to external providers to resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies, including conducting regular checks and risk assessments.
- Organize and oversee office maintenance and routine maintenance visits.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Administrator, Office Manager, or similar role in an office-based environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, with a good level of general confidence around learning new systems.
