About the Role:

The Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the construction operations in the Chipping Warden area, working closely with the setting-out team to ensure the successful delivery of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the performance and development of junior engineers
  • Identify and resolve technical problems on site in liaison with the senior team and Sub-Agent
  • Monitor and coordinate subcontractors to ensure they meet contractual requirements
  • Assist in the production of programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans, and contribute to financial forecasting

Requirements:

  • HNC/Degree in Construction/Civil Engineering or equivalent
  • Working towards institute membership (ICE)
  • CSCS White, White-Yellow, Red - Experienced, Black - Manager or Gold - Supervisor
  • Previous highways or structures experience required
