About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Project Manager to join our team at SMA Solar Technology AG. As a key member of our Large Scale segment, you will be responsible for evaluating the risks of customer orders and ensuring project success even in the project initiation phase.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Examination and Evaluation: Independently prepare project-specific calculations, comprehensive risk analyses, and potentially cash flow statements to ensure commercial viability.
  • Contract Negotiation and Management: Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to conceptualize, develop, negotiate, and document complex commercial contracts with national and international clients.
  • Internal Approval Processes: Ensure adherence to internal approval processes in bidding and contracting to maintain compliance.
  • Project Reviews and Success Measures: Conduct project reviews throughout the lifecycle and define measures to secure project success.
  • Process Development and Implementation: Independently develop end-to-end processes, tools, and guidelines and implement them to improve efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Education: Degree in Business Law, Business Administration, or a comparable background.
  • Experience: Several years of relevant professional experience dealing with complex project contracts in international business.
  • Skills: Proficient in handling ERP/MS Office systems and modules, excellent written and verbal English skills, strong analytical and conceptual skills, and strong communication skills, teamwork, and a solution-oriented approach.
