Financial Director

We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our team at Recruitment Robin Ltd, a leading education recruitment services provider in Newcastle-Under-Lyme. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and compliance of our company.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and present financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to inform business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards, including tax returns and financial reporting.
- Manage cash flow and working capital to meet operational needs.
- Monitor and optimize accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Develop and implement financial controls to safeguard company assets.
- Lead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
- ACCA or CIMA certification, with a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role, preferably in the recruitment or education sector.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices.
- Proficient in financial software and tools, including Xero, Excel, and financial modeling software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong communication and leadership abilities.
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, up to £50,000, with enhanced holidays and your birthday off work. You will be working up to 40 hours from our office in Keele, Monday to Friday. Appointment will be subject to DBS checks, right to work eligibility, and satisfactory references.
