About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil and Structural Engineer to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a Senior Civil and Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering exciting projects in the nuclear and clean energy sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and undertake the design of new building structures, taking responsibility for project ownership.
  • Coordinate across multidisciplinary projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Develop and apply technical leadership and engineering management skills to deliver projects.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions and influence project outcomes.

Requirements

  • Relevant level of professional experience in civil-structural design and analysis, research and development, project engineering, or design consultancy.
  • Chartered with a recognised civil or structural engineering institution (IStructE, ICE, or other).
  • Experience working in highly regulated environments such as nuclear, power, or rail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to exercise a questioning mind and perfect inquisitiveness to innovate solutions.
