Domestic Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Domestic Supervisor to join our team at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Domestic Services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and safety across our hospitals.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the cleaning team to ensure that all areas of the hospital are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures to meet the needs of our patients, staff, and visitors.
- Monitor and control the usage and storage of cleaning consumables, ensuring their safe and secure storage and requisition additional stocks as required.
- Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all cleaning operations are conducted properly and safely.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the cleaning team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that cleaning operations are aligned with the Trust's overall goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement effective training programs to ensure that all team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Monitor and report on cleaning performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a cleaning or healthcare environment.
- Knowledge of National Standards of Cleanliness 2021 and health and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic data inputting skills and basic numeracy and literacy skills.
