Domestic Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Domestic Supervisor to join our team at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Domestic Services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and safety across our hospitals.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the cleaning team to ensure that all areas of the hospital are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures to meet the needs of our patients, staff, and visitors.
- Monitor and control the usage and storage of cleaning consumables, ensuring their safe and secure storage and requisitioning additional stocks as required.
- Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that cleaning operations are conducted properly and safely by members of the team.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the cleaning team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that cleaning operations are aligned with the needs of the hospital and its patients.
- Previous experience of cleaning at a supervisory level.
- Knowledge of National Standards of Cleanliness 2021 and health and safety procedures.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and lead by example.
