About the Role:

Cameron James is seeking an experienced Import Coordinator to join our team. As an Import Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth importation of goods into the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete customs procedures with accuracy and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Generate accurate invoices for shipment-related charges.
  • Obtain and communicate necessary information to ensure correct measures are in place and customer needs are met.
  • Ensure documentation is up-to-date and loaded correctly, and notify the team leader or manager of any issues.
  • Proactively action duties on a daily basis, supporting the team during times of absence or holidays.
  • Liaise with the UK importer/Shipper throughout the delivery process.
  • Share knowledge within the team and continually improve processes.
  • Liaise with overseas partners to arrange collections and deliveries.
  • Organize and plan flight schedules.

Requirements:

  • Accomplished Import Coordinator with experience working in importing and exporting.
  • Ability to work under pressure, with a strong eye for detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office programmes, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Dedication to providing excellent customer service and strong organizational skills.
