Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Innovate Freight Talent. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • LCL Co-ordination
    • Coordinate all LCL import, export, and cross-trade bookings.
    • Liaise with the Head of LCL to drive the development of LCL products.
    • Collaborate with the import and export operations team to book LCL co-load policies.
    • Work with overseas partners to process bookings.
    • Collaborate with the transport team to book LCL collections and deliveries.
    • Work with UK warehouse operations for consolidations and devanning.
    • Identify opportunities for loading own consols.
    • Communicate with chosen NVOCCs and overseas partners.
    • Attend quarterly meetings with the Head of LCL as necessary.
  • FCL Support
    • Provide operational support for FCL shipments, including booking, tracking, and troubleshooting.
    • Assist in liaising with carriers and freight forwarders to ensure smooth handling of FCL cargo.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of FCL market trends, pricing, and carrier performance.
    Requirements:
    • Professional-level proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
    • IT literacy.
    • Knowledge of LCL is advantageous.
    • Good operational knowledge preferred.
    • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain management is required.
    Working Conditions:
    • Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5pm, office-based.
