CFO Business Partner for Equities

The EMEA Equities CFO Business Partnering and Control Team plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of the Firm's Financial Statements while ensuring alignment with the established control frameworks. You will be responsible for the effective execution and supervision of the Firm's Risk and Control Standards (RCSA) through collaboration with Product Control, CCO, and various business functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide financial expertise and support to designated business units, acting as a bridge between the finance department and operational teams to enhance decision-making through financial insights.
- Formulate and execute financial strategies, plans, and budgets for business units, utilizing analytical insights to assess the financial implications of strategic initiatives and recommend actionable steps.
- Develop comprehensive financial models to project future performance, evaluate investment opportunities, and assess financial risks, while analyzing the effects of business decisions on financial outcomes.
- Collaborate across functions to deliver financial insights and guidance to stakeholders within business units.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements that streamline financial operations and improve efficiency.
- Assist business units in recognizing, evaluating, and mitigating financial risks, including providing training and guidance on financial risk management and compliance.
- Analyze and present financial data to uncover insights into business performance, identify trends, and support informed decision-making.
- Advise key stakeholders, including functional leadership and senior management, on areas of functional and cross-functional impact and alignment.
- Manage and mitigate risks through thorough assessments in support of the control and governance framework.
- Exhibit leadership and accountability in managing risks and enhancing controls related to your team's activities.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of organizational functions to contribute effectively to business objectives.
- Collaborate with various departments to stay informed about business activities and strategies.
- Develop solutions through sophisticated analytical thinking, comparing and selecting complex alternatives, requiring in-depth analysis and interpretative skills to define challenges and create innovative solutions.
- Incorporate findings from extensive research into problem-solving processes.
- Build and maintain trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve key business objectives, utilizing influencing and negotiation skills to drive outcomes.
