Senior Marketing and Sales Professional
C&M Travel Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to join our team in Cambridge. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive growth and revenue in the travel industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy Development: Create and execute a marketing strategy that drives revenue growth in a B2C environment, leveraging digital marketing channels and tactics to reach and engage with customers.
- Sales Team Management: Develop and implement sales targets and KPIs, monitor and review performance, and collaborate with the Head of Reservations to drive sales growth.
- External Partnerships: Manage and liaise with external marketing, PR, and design agencies to ensure effective marketing campaigns and brand representation.
- Social Media and Advertising: Oversee social media advertising efforts to increase brand awareness and drive website traffic.
- Contract Management: Review and manage contracts with B2B travel partners to ensure mutually beneficial relationships.
- Product Marketing: Collaborate with the product team to develop and implement marketing strategies for new and existing products.
- Budget Planning: Create and implement a yearly budget plan for marketing and communications, ensuring effective resource allocation and ROI.
- Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reporting and analysis to the Managing Director on marketing performance and sales growth.
- Industry Events: Attend travel trade shows and events to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience in a similar role as Sales and Marketing Manager in the travel industry, with a strong understanding of digital marketing channels and tactics.
- Digital Marketing: Experience in driving growth in a B2C environment, with a strong understanding of SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing strategies, and technical aspects.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and data-driven approach to marketing and sales decision-making.
- Management Experience: Proven management experience, with a strong ability to lead and motivate a sales team.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Additional Details:
- Salary: £45-55k per year.
- Location: Cambridge/hybrid role (3-4 days a week in Cambridge).
