Job Summary:

The Recruitment Bunker is seeking a highly experienced Programme Manager to lead the management of full vehicle projects within the Automotive Sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the delivery of full vehicle projects, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and high-quality results.
  • Lead and mentor a team of project engineers to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to explore new business opportunities and develop budgets for aftermarket products.
  • Ensure all projects have adequate purchase order coverage and negotiate with suppliers as needed.
  • Monitor and control project timing and delivery, adhering to quoted deliverables and gateway requirements.
  • Liaise with core engineering management to set project expectations, review objectives, and deploy project resources effectively.
  • Report project performance to governance meetings, ensuring strong communication and leadership within the project team.
  • Interface with customers to understand project requirements and deliver results within agreed budgets.
  • Provide daily motivation and a positive outlook to team members, ensuring they uphold DRVN's quality accreditation and other specific systems.
  • Measure project success against key performance indicators (KPIs), including project delivery timing, cost vs. budget, customer satisfaction, team satisfaction, business development, and team efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Degree-qualified or equivalent in a relevant engineering subject.
  • Proven experience in delivering full vehicle programmes as a Project/Programme Manager in a fast-paced automotive company or similar environment.
  • Significant project management experience, with a track record of using project management systems.
  • Ability to interface with senior stakeholders, customers, and suppliers on both operational and statistical levels.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Flexible attitude and ability to manage one's own time and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Full driving license, as travel will be required as part of the role.
  • Confident approach to team interaction, with leadership and directional skills within own subject area.
  • IDLR/Full Rights to Work in the UK - Sponsorship or Work Permits will not be accepted/provided.
