Job Title: Cell Validation Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cell Validation Manager to join our client, a global battery organisation designing, developing, and manufacturing high-quality, high-performance, sustainable batteries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead failure investigations using a range of six sigma tools and 8D methodologies.
- Plan requirements for concept, design, and process validation.
- Support the facilities team in scoping requirements for testing.
- Deliver DV test programmes to cost and time for all products and provide technical support for the PV test programmes ran by other parts of the business.
- Develop test procedures and standards for performance, durability, and abuse.
Requirements:
- Six Sigma qualification to green belt or higher.
- PhD in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related subject.
- At least 5 years' experience in cell testing, including delivering projects with OEMs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with a range of audiences, stakeholders, funders, and partners.
- Experience of managing others in a cell validation area.
- Cell testing and data elaboration with a proven record of delivering to cost and time.
