Role Responsibility

The Sales and Distribution Coordinator will be responsible for providing internal and external sales and distribution support to the wider team and the Tarmac group. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Sales and distribution of our Readymix 'RMX' product range to customers
  • Supporting the raising and pricing of quotes that will process to order conversion or query resolutions
  • Working with the team to convert enquiries into orders, respond to sales calls and emails
  • Accurately processing all order information and responding positively and confidently to customer requests, orders, scheduling and planning to ensure timely delivery of orders agreed with customers
  • Demonstrating an excellent telephone manner when dealing with customers
  • Prioritizing and multitasking daily duties
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers
  • Engaging with customers to better understand requirements by developing and demonstrating industry-leading product knowledge

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience in SAP, CRM, and Microsoft IT systems, as well as strong problem-solving skills, good interpersonal skills, and good oral and written communication. Training will be provided for products, procedures, and computer systems.
