Mencap is seeking a dedicated Tutor to join our impactful Supported Internship program. In this full-time role, you'll play a vital part in guiding individuals with learning disabilities towards successful employment by providing comprehensive educational support and work experience opportunities.
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons that encompass essential life skills, English, and Mathematics tailored to each learner's unique needs.
- Provide holistic guidance and support in securing meaningful paid employment for our interns.
- Assess functional skills in English and Mathematics, ensuring learners progress towards their goals.
- Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals to create a supportive and enriching learning environment.
What We Look For:
- Proven experience in supporting individuals with diverse needs.
- A passion for education and empowering learners to reach their full potential.
