We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Operations Assistant to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of financial processes and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities- Produce and distribute sales invoices on a monthly basis, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Generate and distribute customer statements, reconcile accounts, and chase debts in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain and reconcile sales invoicing with the Placement Table to ensure accurate invoices are produced.
- Work closely with the Placement Team and other staff to ensure invoices are accurately produced and assist in the IPAs sent by the Local Authorities.
- Monitor and reconcile bank statements daily, allocating customer receipts and other financial accounts in a timely and accurate manner.
- Previous experience in a finance team, with a working knowledge of accounting principles.
- Experience with accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Xero.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- A communication-first mindset, with excellent interpersonal skills.
Up to £27,000 per annum, plus benefits, in a dynamic and supportive work environment.
