Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Coordinator to join our team at University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust. As a Data Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Cancer Centre Multi-Disciplinary Service (MDT) by ensuring accurate and timely data entry, maintaining records, and providing administrative support.

Main Responsibilities
  • Accurately and efficiently enter data into hospital computerized patient systems
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information
  • Provide administrative support to the Cancer Centre MDT team
  • Identify and resolve data discrepancies and errors
  • Develop and implement processes to improve data quality and efficiency
Requirements
  • Good standard of secondary education with literacy and numeracy skills demonstrable to GSCE pass level or equivalent standard
  • Administrative and organisational experience in a healthcare environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and hospital computerized patient systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
