The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our facility and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care to all residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the facility, including staff supervision and coordination of care services.
- Provide leadership and support to the care staff, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care to all residents, including those with dementia, through effective care planning and coordination.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, working closely with the care team and other stakeholders.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and policies, ensuring the highest level of care and safety for residents.
- Participate in staff training and development, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care or above.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a residential care setting.
- Strong understanding of the needs of elderly residents, including those with dementia.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.
