Responsibilities:- Provide direct support to individuals with Learning Disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Enable individuals to access community-based services and facilities, enhancing their quality of life.
- Assist with personal care, including skin care, bathing, and dressing, ensuring the individual's dignity and comfort.
- Support individuals with daily living tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry, promoting their independence.
- Collaborate with external professional groups, such as GPs and Social Services, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Maintain accurate records of work done, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Recent experience working with individuals with Learning Disabilities, demonstrating your ability to provide high-quality care.
- Comfortable providing personal and intimate care, with a caring and empathetic approach.
- Able to undertake moving and handling of individuals, following training and guidance.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering person-centered care.
- Child and Adult DBS registered to the update service, ensuring a safe and secure environment.
