About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Engineer to join our Engineering & Manufacturing department at Michael Page. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing suppliers and ensuring products meet our company's stringent standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage supplier performance and conduct audits to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Develop and implement supplier quality evaluation and control systems to drive continuous improvement
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure quality standards are met and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve supplier quality issues
  • Conduct training and workshops for suppliers on quality standards and expectations
  • Participate in the selection of new suppliers and develop relationships with key stakeholders
  • Prepare and present performance reports to the management team to inform strategic decisions
Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the Industrial / Manufacturing industry
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and supplier quality systems
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
