Data Engineering Automation Lead

Aviva is seeking an experienced Data Engineering Automation Lead to join their team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have expertise in automation using standard tooling to accelerate development and delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team to deliver wider capability across Aviva, focusing on data engineering automation.
  • Develop and implement automation solutions using cloud-based technologies, such as AWS.
  • Collaborate with the Solutions Team in IWR to enable the introduction of new technologies in the tech stack.
  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps platforms, such as ADO.
  • Integrate cloud technologies, including AWS, EMR-FS, S3, SQS, and Lambda.
  • Develop and maintain data-driven solutions and principles.
  • Integrate with various technologies, including ADO, Jenkins, Stash, and JIRA.
  • Develop and maintain TEST/REGRESSION automation frameworks and integration.
Requirements
  • Strong expertise in data engineering automation and cloud-based technologies.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps platforms.
  • Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python.
  • Understanding of data-driven solutions and principles.
  • Experience with cloud OLAP platforms and SQL.
