We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Engineering Team Lead to join our growing team. As the lead, you will oversee a group of data engineers in developing and maintaining our data analytics platform, playing a vital role in our technology transition to enhance analytics and data science at Unite Students.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead and guide a team of data engineers to ensure efficient project delivery and foster a collaborative environment.
  • Collaborate with Business Intelligence Developers and Data Scientists to produce valuable visualizations and analysis products for various domains.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to define requirements and ensure alignment.
  • Design scalable processes and data architectures that support future growth.
  • Enforce coding standards and best practices to promote automation.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.
Requirements:
  • Proactive and visionary individual with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a technical lead in data development.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python.
  • Knowledge of data design principles and database technologies.
  • Familiarity with various technologies and platforms such as Airflow, AWS Lambda, and Tableau.
  • Experience with testing, versioning, and documentation tools.
