About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Community Support Worker. As a key member of our team, you will provide essential care and support to elderly and vulnerable adults in their own homes.

This is a domiciliary care role, which may include sits, and you will be required to make calls to service users throughout your shift. You must be prepared to travel within the service catchment area and work every other weekend or 1 day each weekend.

A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle with 'business use' car insurance are essential to undertake this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prompting and supporting with personal care and dressing, including assistance with intimate personal care.
  2. Supporting with light household duties, including laundry, shopping, and cleaning, meal preparation.
  3. Assisting with medication, including collecting prescriptions, prompting, or administering medication.
  4. Accompanying service users to medical appointments if needed.
  5. Providing general companionship.
What We Offer:
  1. A competitive hourly rate of £12.00, including weekends.
  2. A weekend Shift Allowance of £10.00 per day.
  3. Mileage allowance of 45p per mile, with the option to use a Fuel Card.
  4. Travel time allowance of £11.44 per hour for continuous calls from one service user to another.

  6. The option to be paid Weekly or Monthly.

Requirements:

We do not require any formal qualifications or previous experience in the care sector. Full training and support will be provided.

An enhanced DBS check will be actioned as part of the pre-employment process.

We do not offer overseas sponsorship for this position.
