Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Paraplanner to join our team at IDEX Consulting Ltd in Glasgow. As a Paraplanner, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Advisors and partners in delivering high-quality advice to clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical knowledge of financial services products and a proven track record of preparing written advice and providing technical research services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare written advice and provide technical research services to support the delivery of high-quality advice to clients.
  • Ensure that advice is delivered in an efficient manner, meeting the highest standards of quality and professionalism.
  • Participate in team meetings, contributing to the discussion of key issues and owning actions through to resolution.
  • Assist with new business initiatives, as required, to drive growth and development.
  • Proactively suggest improvements to the team and company, contributing to the ongoing progression and success of IDEX Consulting Ltd.

Requirements:

  • Diploma level (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
  • Full paraplanning experience, with a strong understanding of financial services products and a proven track record of delivering high-quality advice.
  • Experience in a fee-based environment, with a focus on discretionary management, cash flow modeling, and financial planning.
  • Excellent communication and drafting skills, with the ability to attend client meetings and provide clear, concise advice.
