Position: Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner

Salary: £28,407 per annum

Role Overview:
As a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner, you will engage with adults in both individual and group settings, addressing their mental health needs across diverse cultural backgrounds. Your commitment to equal opportunities will be vital in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct assessments to determine the suitability of service users for evidence-based psychological interventions.
2. Deliver a variety of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) interventions to individuals experiencing mild to moderate depression and anxiety.
3. Provide low-intensity interventions, including guided self-help, group work, and psycho-educational workshops.
4. Carry out patient-centered interviews to identify areas for change and assess risks effectively.
5. Support individuals in managing their recovery from common mental health issues.
6. Ensure adherence to quality standards in service delivery.

Candidate Profile:
We are seeking a qualified or soon-to-be-qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner who:
- Is adaptable and responsive to the needs of service users.
- Has experience in conducting CBT assessments and delivering interventions in both group and one-on-one settings.
- Possesses a background in working with individuals facing mental health challenges, particularly in primary care environments.
