About the Role

This is a Waking Night Support position based within a dedicated team. You will play a key role in providing tailored support to individuals with complex needs and learning disabilities. As part of this role, you would be required to work as part of a night support team, ensuring the appropriate support is given in line with risk assessments and support plans whilst also carrying out a few critical allocated tasks, such as:

  • Conducting regular 'keeping safe checks' to ensure the person we support is safe and comfortable.
  • Supporting with morning and night routines.
  • You will maintain accurate written records, using IT systems as required, including but not limited to updating support plans, incident logs and health and safety records.
  • Creating a calm and therapeutic environment for the people we support.
  • Assisting the people we support with aspects of daily living, including personal care, feeding, meal preparation and medication assistance.

Shift patterns will be 0930pm - 0730am. This team works on a rolling rota allowing you to have a work-life balance. Full training and induction before starting is provided, along with work shadowing.
